Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection is seeking a Grain Inspector to support the facility operations with grain probing, testing and reporting. The role includes ensuring smooth sample flow, maintaining accuracy in test results, and training new inspectors as needed.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with full-time benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401(k) and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred with 0-3 years’ experience

Responsibilities

• Grain Inspectors take on a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure the seamless operation of the facility, which includes tasks such as sample probing, commodity grading, testing, as well as general maintenance.
• Ensure proper flow of sample testing through the facility and steady flow of grain to the facility.
• Act as a back-up to Grain Prober/Sampler.
• Responsible for accuracy in reporting results; record test results and provide information to the client of grain truck driver.
• Represent Eurofins Grain Inspection to client grain company merchandisers.
