Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection seeks Grain Inspectors to ensure accurate grain sampling, testing and grading, while supporting client communications and compliance with USDA standards. The role involves operating basic lab equipment, maintaining safety, and assisting in training new staff.

The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured environment with regular hours and on-site requirements at the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred with 0-3 years' experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft suite programs (Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grain Inspectors perform sample probing, commodity grading, testing and related maintenance tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Ensure proper flow of sample testing and grain movement; report results to clients.
• Back up Grain Prober/Sampler and liaise between the facility and client merchandisers.
• Maintain accurate test records and communicate results to clients and the grain operations manager.
• Train incoming Grain Inspectors and assist in evaluating new inspectors.
