Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection in Teutopolis, IL is seeking a Grain Inspector to ensure accurate sample probing, grading and testing. You will report results and act as a liaison between the facility and client grain merchandisers.

Responsibilities include operating basic lab equipment, assisting training, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the grain operations manager. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 0–3 years of experience; Monday–Friday schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to record and report test results accurately.
• Willingness to train and supervise new inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Probe samples, grade grains, and perform testing per procedures.
• Ensure proper flow of samples to the testing facility.
• Back up Grain Prober/Sampler when needed.
• Report results accurately to clients or truck drivers.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the lab and work area.
