We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as a Grain Operations Worker at our Albion, MI Ethanol Production Plant.

As a Grain Operations Worker, you will support our grain operations, work closely with our team, and contribute to our success. The ideal candidate is proactive, willing to learn grain processes, and eager to work with our Ethanol Production team to improve productivity and quality.

Position Summary

This role involves performing operations activities such as loadout, inspection, and general activities related to Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities like probing trucks
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; assist customers and enter shipment data
• Monitor equipment and processes; resolve or escalate issues
• Operate mobile equipment
• Assist with railcar movement
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Minimal experience required
• Work is prescribed with close supervision
• Tasks are clearly defined and detailed

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic computer skills and data entry
• Experience in grain operations is a plus
• Ability to operate mobile equipment or valid driver’s license preferred

Physical Requirements and Environment

• Work in a 24/7 ethanol production facility
• Stand/sit for extended periods
• Lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
• Climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Potential exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and uneven surfaces
