Job summary

gpac is seeking a Grain Merchandiser in North Dakota to capitalize on opportunities in the grain market and build relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will trade crops such as wheat, canola, corn, and pulses, and report to management with market insights.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of grain merchandising experience, strong communication and math skills, and proficiency with software systems used across the industry.

Qualifications

• Experience with crops that are typical throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Capitalize on opportunities by making recommendations to management and staff regarding changes in the grain market.
• Build relationships within the community and outside customers.
• Trade a variety of crops: wheat, flax, canola, durum, corn, pulse crops, etc.
• Provide a summary and distribute information to other stakeholders in the company including accounting and facilities staff.
• Monitor future markets on a regular basis.
