Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. in Vidalia, LA is seeking a Grain Handler Technician to operate and maintain facility loading and unloading of barges and trucks. This general labor role includes maintaining grain quality, completing paperwork, and performing preventive maintenance as needed.

You will join a safety‑driven team, with the ability to work 12‑hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, and wear PPE. Education: high school diploma; preferred 1 year in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience not required; 1 year in an industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload barges and trucks as required.
• Assist with grain transfer and storage.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance and basic repairs to equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE.
