Job summary

Ag Valley Co-op seeks a Location Manager to oversee the daily operations of the grain facility, ensuring peak efficiency and financial return. You will supervise operations, coordinate labor, schedule grain movements, and manage inventories to meet strict quality and storage standards.

You will inspect facilities, coordinate repairs, and work with safety to ensure training and OSHA reporting. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Three years of operational grain elevator experience.
• Associates degree or higher education.
• Self-motivated, dependable, organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheet analysis and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the grain facility.
• Coordinate labor movements with Regional Manager to improve efficiency.
• Schedule movement of grain.
• Manage grain inventories for quality and storage standards.
• Inspect equipment and facilities and report deficiencies; ensure timely corrections.
• Schedule and coordinate equipment repair and maintenance.
• Identify and recommend requisition of major fixed assets.
• Maintain daily communications with employees, office staff, and Regional Manager.
• Work with Safety Director to ensure safety policy compliance and trainings.
• Maintain OSHA reporting.
• Attend company meetings deemed necessary by management
