Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Ohio is seeking a Grain Etch Operator to etch castings, dip in caustic baths, and assist in cleaning caustic units under supervision.

You will follow prescribed temperatures and time cycles, load and unload castings with a hoist, maintain clean work areas, and accurately log hours in the labor control system. A high school diploma or GED is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Immerse castings in caustic and water baths per procedures.
• Operate hoist and transfer castings between baths and rinse stages.
• Maintain clean work area and track labor time accurately.
• Monitor bath temperatures and process times, report faults.
