Job summary

ADM is seeking a Superintendent at Plains, KS, to manage day-to-day grain elevator operations. You will lead hourly staff, ensure safety, and oversee GMP, HACCP and FSMA adherence while driving maintenance and process improvements.

Responsibilities include training, safety leadership, and coordinating maintenance to minimize downtime. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 2–3 years of team leadership, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; OJT accepted with diploma
• 2-3 years’ experience developing a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to train others and lead hourly labor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and health compliance for personnel and processes
• Lead daily plant operations including GMP, HACCP and FSMA compliance
• Develop and train hourly staff; improve maintenance and operations efficiency
• Maintain documentation and cost-saving initiatives
• Lead preventive maintenance and scheduling; monitor equipment and facilities
