Job summary

Bunge North America is seeking an experienced Operations Leader for a grain elevator position in the United States. The role includes day-to-day operations, maintenance oversight, and responsibility for operating expenses to keep the facility safe, efficient, and competitive.

Responsibilities include managing inventories, scheduling, and major safety/environmental programs, along with staff hiring and development.

Qualifications

• Technical college degree or certification plus 3+ years elevator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficient in company-specific software and operating systems.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to work odd hours, weekends and rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operations functions to ensure best practices and safe work.
• Drive operational excellence, safety, and environmental programs at the elevator.
• Manage grain inventories, storage, quality, blending, and scheduling.
• Oversee annual budget expenses and collaborate on longer-term plans.
• Lead major strategic projects to meet targets.
• Maintain company software and operation systems.
• Oversee hiring and training/development processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
