Job summary

Bunge, a premier agribusiness, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Joice, Iowa facility. You will provide operational leadership to ensure efficient, profitable operation of the elevator/terminal, coordinating with Location and Regional Operations Managers to meet schedules and seize opportunities.

Responsibilities include inventory control, cost management, facility improvements, safety compliance, and developing the operations team.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Technical degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, and/or Safety.
3+ years’ experience in a grain elevator or terminal in a leadership capacity.
Experience in leading an effective safety program.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (preferred).

Responsibilities

Manage inventory control within company requirements.
Engage and maintain cost control per plan.
Assist location manager in facility improvements.
Maximize mix & blend opportunities using in-house stocks.
Schedule and lead all preventative maintenance with OSHA grain handling compliance.
Lead talent development for operational staff and ensure safety procedures.
