Job summary

The Scoular Company in Kansas is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and support safe, reliable supply chain operations for customers. You will load/unload grain, operate heavy equipment, manage storage, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with safety protocols and reporting hazards.

This role requires physical stamina, tolerance for outdoors in all weather, and flexibility to work overtime, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable with ladders, heights, and confined spaces.
• Must work around grain dust.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with the weighing and grading of grain trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.).
• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles, as well as performing general cleaning and housekeeping of bins and storage structures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to support operations.
