Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Ashton, IL is seeking a Full Time Grain Elevator Operator to support elevator operations, handle grain, manage quality, and ensure safe, efficient movement and storage of grain at the facility.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work both independently and in a team within a fast-paced agricultural environment. Requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in agriculture or grain handling preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills to support grain handling operations.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn grain handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, condition, blend, and load outbound grain shipments.
• Monitor grain quality and assist with drying operations.
• Operate and support the grain drying system safely.
• Perform housekeeping and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and FS Grain safety policies.
• Maintain equipment and rolling stock in good condition.
• Provide professional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
• Communicate issues to the Location Manager.
