Job summary

Prairie Grain Partners LLC is hiring a Grain Elevator Worker in the Hitchcock/Tulare area for full-time, hourly non-exempt work. The role supports the Operations Manager in grain elevator operations, ensuring trucks and railcars are loaded/unloaded safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include operating grain drying and handling equipment, using forklift and wheel-loader machinery, data entry in computerized systems, and performing general facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.
• legally eligible to work in the United States.
• English proficiency required.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills and equipment operation ability.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks or railcars.
• Operate a grain dryer and handle grain safely.
• Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers and related equipment.
• Use computerized system to process data.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain clean facilities.
• Assist operations personnel and supervisors as needed.
• Travel to neighboring facilities to assist on occasion.
• Adhere to Prairie Grain Partners safety policies and procedures.
