Job summary

Primient in Darrow, IL is seeking a Grain Operator to run and monitor grain receiving and shipping operations at our grain elevators, ensuring safety and reliability throughout the process.

You will work in hot and cold temperatures, climb at heights exceeding 50 ft, lift up to 55 lbs, and may require overtime during harvest season. A High School diploma and mechanical equipment operating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical equipment operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all grain receiving and shipping operations.
• Participate in grain quality control, general maintenance, housekeeping, and maintain highest safety standards.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures, climb at heights exceeding 50 ft, climb ladders, lift and carry 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties.
• Work extra hours during harvest season.
