Job summary

Bartlett, founded in 1907, is a leading grains company based in St Joseph, MO. We’re seeking a Grain Elevator Operator for the 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:15pm, M-F with overtime).

You will work with conveyors and grain handling equipment to receive, store and load bulk commodities such as wheat, corn and soybeans. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, ability to read and follow English instructions, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow written/verbal instructions in English.
• Willingness to work OT and weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain.
• Monitor stored grain condition and maintain grain facilities and equipment for a safe environment.
• Cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks in grain elevator operations.
