Bartlett in Wichita, KS is seeking a Grain Elevator Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm). You will perform grain receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading, monitor grain conditions, and maintain facilities to support safe, efficient operations.

This hands-on role requires a HS diploma or GED, English literacy, reliable transportation, and willingness to work overtime and weekends. Occasional travel to nearby plants may be required while working with conveyors and PPE in a

The Basics

Compensation: $23.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 2nd shift, 2:30pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you'll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• Able to travel to Great Bend KS, Scott City KS, Healy KS, Cherryvale KS and Towner CO to assist with train activities, housekeeping and other projects, as needed
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
