Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep grain elevator operations running safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

This hands-on role requires interpreting manuals and drawings, using computerized maintenance systems, and upholding safety standards. Normal hours are listed, with Harvest peak hours during July–September.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/or mobile equipment and vehicles, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Maintain computerized preventative maintenance system.
• Maintain current safety policies and standards related to position.
