Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently at its grain elevator locations.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform emergency repairs, and support reliability and uptime while interpreting manuals and using computerized maintenance systems. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to read manuals and work orders and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and vehicles.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Maintain computerized preventative maintenance system.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s Degree preferred
