Job summary

REalloys Inc. seeks an experienced Materials Scientist specializing in grain boundary engineering to lead R&D of advanced materials with enhanced properties.

You will study grain boundary effects on mechanical, thermal, and electrical performance and design materials accordingly. The role requires a PhD in Materials Science or related field and 3–5 years of experience in grain boundary engineering, with hands-on TEM/SEM/XRD characterization and computational modeling as a plus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Physics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in grain boundary engineering and materials science research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on grain boundary engineering to develop materials with optimized properties.
• Design and synthesize new materials focusing on grain boundary control.
• Characterize grain boundary structures using TEM, SEM, EBSD, XRD.
