Job summary

Central Valley Ag is seeking an Operations employee to assist in receiving, shipping and handling grain and agronomy products, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in Beloit, KS. The role includes driving company trucks, loading and unloading materials, and supporting inventory management.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate mixing of chemicals and fertilizers, assisting in scheduling, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred.
• Commercial Applicator’s License preferred.
• DOT knowledge preferred.
• Communicate professionally with internal ops and external customers.
• Strong basic mechanical skills.
• Safety is a priority and a safe work environment is expected.
• Self-starter who can plan and organize work.
• Good computer skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading grain products for company-owned and customer-owned trucks.
• Aid in delivering agronomy products such as fertilizer, chemical and seed to customers.
• Assist in loading agronomy products to customer trucks.
• Assist in receiving dry/liquid fertilizer, chemicals and seed.
• Assist in operations of liquid and dry plant and in scheduling/mixing/loading.
• Help ensure accuracy of chemical and fertilizer mixing and blender operations.
• Drive company-owned trucks to transfer grain and agronomy products.
• Provide back-up for custom applicators if certified.
• Assist with train loads and monitoring grain quality and inventory.
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment and complete paperwork accurately.
