Central Valley Ag in Tekamah, Nebraska is seeking an Operations (DOT) employee to assist with receiving, shipping and handling grain and agronomy products, and to perform preventative maintenance and cleaning as needed.

The role includes unloading and loading grain and agronomy products, driving company trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety and accuracy of paperwork while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License.
• Knowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
• Great basic mechanical skills.
• Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority.

Responsabilités

• Assist in unloading grain products for company-owned and customer-owned trucks.
• Assist in delivery of agronomy products such as fertilizer, chemical and seed to customers.
• Assist in loading of agronomy products to customer trucks.
• Assist in receiving of dry/liquid fertilizer, chemicals and seed.
• Provide assistance in the operations of the liquid and dry plant.
• Assist in scheduling, mixing and loading of liquid/dry fertilizer and chemicals.
• Help ensure accuracy of mixing chemicals and fertilizers and assist with blender operations.
• Drive company-owned trucks to transfer grain and agronomy products.
• Drive tender trucks to supply CVA custom application equipment.
• If certified, serve as back-up for custom applicators.
• Assist with train loads going out.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining grain quality.
• Conduct and help manage grain and agronomy inventory.
• Monitor and keep supervisor apprised of inventory levels.
• Assist with scale operations.
• Perform general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, including necessary documentation.
• Assist in ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Responsible for housekeeping duties.
• Assist other divisions and locations as needed.
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
