Job summary

Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Graduation Coach to help students complete graduation requirements. The role includes analyzing data to identify at-risk students, planning and tracking graduation plans, and removing barriers.

You will work with a team of administrators, teachers, counselors and community partners to support student success and ensure timely graduation, with a focus on attendance, credits, and SOL outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher is required or preferred.
• Virginia certification in Administration and Supervision (K-12) preferred.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to analyze data to identify growth areas and implement improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify students at risk of not graduating due to academic reasons or attendance.
• Maintain a caseload and provide resources to support graduation readiness.
• Develop graduation plans and strategies to keep students motivated toward graduation.
• Facilitate a team including administrator, teachers, counselors, school social workers and partners.
• Monitor attendance, credits, SOLs and discipline; track progress and report findings.
