Job summary

Howard University is seeking a part-time Graduation Admissions Coordinator to develop and manage graduate recruitment, admissions, and retention tracking. You will plan Open House events, coordinate applications, and work with faculty advisers to support graduate programs.

The role involves liaising with alumni and managing admissions data, while supporting financial aid communications and program reporting on local and national levels.

Qualifications

  • Master of Divinity Degree required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills mandatory.
  • Experience in graduate admissions or equivalent higher education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement graduate recruitment, retention, and admission tracking for graduate students.
  • Plan and conduct Open House events and information sessions for prospective students.
  • Manage the application and distribution process and coordinate with Curriculum Committee and faculty advisers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Student Affairs.
  • Identify scholarship recipients from admitted students and communicate aid options.
  • Serve as ambassador and alumni liaison; collaborate with enrollment management and graduate programs.
