Job summary

LJA Transportation is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support design, production, and project administration using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. You will work on feasibilities, cost opinions, studies, exhibits, construction plans, and bid packages for a diverse client base.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience, learning, and collaboration with senior engineers. A bachelor’s in civil engineering and FE exam progress are preferred, with flexible office dynamics and growth

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET-accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software is expected.
Proficiency in Bluebeam and water resources software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with technical peers to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings.
Expand engineering toolbox with advanced techniques and industry practices.
Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
Support production of feasibility studies, cost opinions, exhibits, and bid packages.
Provide information and exhibits to inform decision making for project objectives.
