3Red Partners seeks a Graduate Trader (2027 Incoming Graduate) in Chicago or Amsterdam to work with traders and developers on latency-sensitive automated trading systems. You will gain exposure to trading, quantitative research, and technology while collaborating across teams to deliver value.

The role targets top STEM graduates who thrive under pressure, with a track record in competitive activities and demonstrated interest in trading through internships or projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in STEM fields expected; graduation 2027 or later.
• Proven track record in competitive activity (e.g., poker or strategic games).
• Interest in trading demonstrated via internships or projects.
• Ability to maintain focus under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience writing code in Python and reviewing data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open positions and executions on latency-sensitive automated trading systems.
• Review system performance and adjust trades based on market conditions; may manually trade to reduce risk.
• Generate feedback on performance and communicate post-trade analysis and market events to the team.
• Help develop improvements to trading systems and track market data and research issues.
