Mott MacDonald is seeking graduates to join the Blueprint program in Houston, Texas, a structured three-year development journey with an award-winning learning partner. You will work with engineering consultants, project managers, and SMEs to build drafting, CAD, and professional skills from day one.

This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and growth as you contribute to sustainable infrastructure projects and client engagements across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent drafting experience required.
• Associate degree in design/technology preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is expected.
• Demonstrated interest through internships, volunteering, or memberships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing drawings, preliminary layouts, sketches or marked-up prints.
• Prepare plans, profiles and sections using CAD drawings.
• Operate CAD workstations, plotters, printers, and related equipment.
• Draft to company and national standards (symbols, nomenclature, terms).
• Join project and client meetings.
• Refine technical designs and documentation.
• Explore project and client management opportunities.
• Leverage digital tools and drive sustainable outcomes.
