• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Experience advising students at the university level.
• Advanced knowledge of advising and counseling practices.
• Familiarity with EECS programs and requirements.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Academic advising and handling complex student issues; facilitate petitions and course approvals.
• Advise continuing graduate students on degree requirements, enrollment, and deadlines; maintain records.
• Serve as main contact between graduate students and the university; communicate important dates.
• Assist chairs/deans with policy and program policy clarifications and updates.
• Draft correspondence and petitions; manage signatures on Graduate Division forms.
• Coordinate the CS division's preliminary exams and biannual graduate reviews.
• Collaborate with staff and faculty to improve student services and programs.
