Job summary

Florida Polytechnic University is seeking a Graduate Student Worker for the Office of Disability Services to assist in administering exams, proctoring, and providing support to faculty and students with testing accommodations at IST Building, Room 1025.

The role involves administrative duties, answering phones/emails, scheduling tests, and maintaining exam integrity in line with national testing standards; prior proctoring or teaching is desired but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at Florida Poly University.
• Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
• GPA at least 3.0 and completion of 12 credits in most recent Fall or Spring semesters.

Responsibilities

• Check students in at the Testing Center.
• Maintain quiet atmosphere for testing.
• Distribute and collect test materials.
• Coordinate with faculty to obtain materials.
• Actively proctor exams.
• Enforce testing rules and procedures.
• Assist students with special accommodations.
• Maintain confidentiality of testing materials.
• Escalate issues to Disability Services as needed.
