Job Description And Duties

Under close supervision of the Research Data Supervisor II of the Evaluation and Data Innovation Branch, within the Research, Evaluation and Data Insights Division, the Graduate Student Assistant will assist with research, data entry, data clean-up, reporting, administrative and/or technical duties related to the coordination of research projects across various teams within the Division.

The incumbent will assist Data Specialists, Supervisors, and the Division generally in research planning and execution efforts on priority and ad hoc projects and assignments as needed. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong data and research background, and also be able to effectively connect data with policy and vice versa. Projects and assignments may entail review of existing state and federal level laws and policies to support data driven decisions for advancing Department's compliance and reporting efforts. Advanced Microsoft Office experience is preferred including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
