Buro Happold is seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team, contributing to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. Qualifications

• Master's degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures.
• Relevant coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design.
• Structural project design experience via internship or coursework projects.
• Familiarity with Revit and 3D modeling (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.).
• Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper) and coding (Python, C#).
• Demonstrated interest in the built environment and sustainable design.
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the progression and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Perform detailed structural analysis, design, and calculations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary project meetings.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Support structural embodied carbon assessments and sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to site visits and monitor construction progress.

Your key duties

Your Skills And Experience

• Master's degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures
• Relevant coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design
• Structural project design experience via prior internship and/or coursework projects (prior engineering internship experience is preferred)
• Familiarity with Revit and 3D modeling (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.)
• Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper), coding (Python, C#), and open-source coding projects is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in the built environment and sustainable design
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Salary range of $80,000 to $83,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
