Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a New Graduate Engineer, Software Security for Starlink. You will help design and implement security for space and terrestrial systems, contributing to a global broadband constellation that enables secure, reliable connectivity.

Ideal candidates have a CS degree, exposure to Python, C++, or Golang, and experience designing security for OS and distributed systems. Graduating in 2026 or 2027, you’ll be part of a collaborative team working extended hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
• Experience with one or more software development languages (e.g., Python, C++, Go).
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for OS, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security critical infrastructure for Starlink
• Develop security features for Starlink systems including router, dish, gateways, and satellites
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services in support of this
• Maintain existing production systems and improve security posture through implementation and recommendations
• Build prototypes and help identify, design, and test security improvements
• Advance the mission of providing secure and reliable Internet to underserved communities
