Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER, SOFTWARE SECURITY for the Starlink program. You will help design and build security infrastructure across space-ground systems and contribute to secure, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates graduate in 2026 or 2027 with skills in software development and security design. The role involves working on security features for routers, satellites, and gateways, plus collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang.
• Experience designing security solutions for OS, distributed systems, or large-scale infra.
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security critical infrastructure for Starlink.
• Develop security features for Starlink devices (router, dish, gateways, satellites).
• Incorporate security into factory processes and provide network services.
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture through implementation and guidance.
• Build prototypes and test security improvements.
• Advance secure internet access for underserved communities.
