Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a New Graduate Engineer, Software Security for Starlink. You will help design and build security‑critical infrastructure across space and ground systems, including routers, dishes, gateways and satellites.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Python, C++, or Golang, and will graduate in 2026 or 2027 with a STEM degree and strong security design skills. SpaceX offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
• Experience with one or more software languages (Python, C++, Golang).
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for OS or distributed systems.
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security critical infrastructure for Starlink.
• Develop security features for Starlink systems including router, dish, gateways, and satellites.
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services in support.
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture via implementation and guidance.
• Build prototypes and test security improvements.
• Advance secure and reliable Internet access for underserved communities.
