United States Digital Space LLC is seeking new graduate engineers for Software Security on the Starlink project. You will help design and implement security for space and terrestrial systems, with emphasis on secure boot, cryptography, and intrusion detection.

Graduates from the class of 2026 or 2027 are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, prototype development, and contributing to global connectivity through secure satellite infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other STEM discipline.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang.
• Experience designing security solutions for OS/distributed systems or large-scale infrastructure.
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.
• Preferred: TPMs/HSMs knowledge and complex system navigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security critical infrastructure for Starlink.
• Develop security features for Starlink systems including router, dish, gateways, and satellites.
• Incorporate security into factory processes and provide network services to support this.
• Maintain and improve security posture of production systems and provide guidance to other teams.
• Build prototypes and test security improvements.
• Advance secure and reliable Internet access for underserved communities.
