Job summary

Engtal in Chicago is seeking Spring/Summer 2027 graduates to start a career in sales. In this fast-paced role you’ll build your own market, develop client and candidate relationships, and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027.
• Genuine interest in building a career in sales.
• Some prior sales experience via part-time job, internship, or similar.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Ability to work full-time from our Chicago office after graduation.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Competitive, ambitious, goal-oriented mindset.
• Confidence communicating with different types of people.
• Resilience and positive response to challenges.
• Business, Marketing or Entrepreneurship degrees preferred, but all backgrounds considered.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and develop relationships with clients via calls, email, LinkedIn, and events.
• Meet with clients to understand businesses, hiring challenges, and talent needs.
• Build personal brand on social media and attract clients/candidates.
• Head-hunt high performing professionals within your market.
• Conduct candidate screening and qualification calls.
• Manage interview process from submission to offer.
• Negotiate fees, salaries, and employment offers.
• Attend and host networking events and become a trusted voice in your market.
• Build and manage your client and candidate networks.
