Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Connecticut RN license required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; documents patient condition.
• Coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Delegates care to other nursing staff to maximize patient outcomes.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds, providing input for outcomes.
