Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a registered nurse to deliver care in an inpatient hospital setting. You will use the nursing process, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license in state of service or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Temporary or Graduate RN permit may be required by state board.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a designated shift using the nursing process.
• Apply independent nursing judgment and collaborate with health-care team.
• Assess patient data and adapt care plans to age-specific needs.
• Ensure safety and quality outcomes through evidence-based practice.
