Qualifications

Must be a graduate student enrolled for current term.
Must be registered for at least one Auburn University course during each term of the assistantship.
Meet minimum course-load specifications and progress toward the degree.

Responsibilities

Contribute under supervision to a program of departmental or interdepartmental research.
Engage in research as assistants to faculty or administration; placement within your department or related unit.
Collate information and analyze data; the assistant may enter data.
Lead a group of less experienced research personnel.
Prepare materials needed for research seminars and conferences.
Document information for publication releases in a systematic way.
Conduct literature reviews for faculty.
Prepare interview questions.
Recruit and/or interview subjects and maintain records with confidentiality.
Provide ready access to experiential data for faculty, researchers, and supervisors.
Supervise undergraduate students working on research projects.
Attend project meetings.
Summarize project results.
Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency.
