Job summary

Auburn University College of Nursing seeks a Graduate Research Assistant to support departmental and interdepartmental research projects. The role involves helping with data collection, literature reviews, and preparing materials for seminars under supervision.

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled as a graduate student.
Registered for at least one Auburn University course during each academic term of the assistantship.
Satisfy the minimum course load specifications of the individual departments and be making satisfactory progress toward the degree.

Responsibilities

Contribute under supervision to a program of departmental or interdepartmental research.
Engage in research as assistants to members of the faculty or administration of the university.
Collate information and analyze data; may enter data.
Lead a group of less experienced research personnel.
Prepare materials needed for research seminars and conferences.
Utilize a systematic method in documenting information for publication releases.
Conduct literature reviews for faculty.
Prepare interview questions.
Recruit and/or interview subjects, and maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding confidentiality.
Provide ready access to all experiential data for faculty, researchers, and/or supervisors.
Supervise undergraduate students working on research projects.
Attend project meetings.
Summarize project results.
Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency.
