Foreign Policy Analytics, the research and advisory division of Foreign Policy, is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant to join our team to participate in the cutting-edge research that we produce in-house and in partnership with public, private, and multilateral clients around the world. The Graduate Research Assistant will assist in conducting the research and preparing reports. We are seeking a motivated and collaborative graduate student who is committed to the organization’s mission and will bring professionalism, rigor, and dedication to the work.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct desktop and primary research and analysis on various geographies as needed across a range of policy issues and sectors
  • Collect data from international and government sources and conduct statistical impact and economic trend analyses
  • Assist with the production of rapid response briefs on breaking policy issues
  • Support the production of policy briefs, simulations, and reports
  • Provide other support as directed to the FP Analytics team

Requirements Include:

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Graduate student in political science, international relations, economics, or public policy
  • Proven professional track record with high-quality qualitative andquantitative research
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data visualization is desired
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver projects on time

Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
