Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Recruitment Consultant for their Welkom-based team. This entry-level role focuses on identifying and engaging emerging talent for client organizations, working with senior consultants to learn the recruitment process from sourcing to client management.

You will train under mentorship, develop strong communication skills, and enjoy a hybrid work arrangement, with opportunities across a variety of industries.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., HR, Psychology, Business Admin) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A strong desire to learn and build a career in recruitment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• A proactive attitude and a keen interest in connecting people with opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and screening potential candidates, particularly recent graduates, for entry-level positions.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers for client organizations.
• Maintain and update the candidate database with accurate and timely information.
• Support senior consultants in managing client relationships and understanding their hiring needs.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability and interest.
• Learn and apply best practices in candidate engagement and recruitment marketing.
