The two-year program develops competencies across preconstruction, budgeting, forecasting, change control, and risk management, with SOX controls where applicable, and exposure to project management software and invoicing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree required/preferred.
• Experience not required or minimal (0-2 years).
• Exposure to project controls, budgeting, and forecasting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction support during project approval phase and assist in development of contractor purchase orders.
• Manage internal project budget and schedule of values for monthly financial reporting on multiple projects.
• Coordinate external project budget and communications within project management software, including change management and document control.
• Provide monthly forecasts and cash-flow analysis with variance explanations and executive reporting.
• Oversee monthly vendor invoice reviews and coordination with accounts payable and 3rd party auditing services.
• Ensure accurate accrual reporting for existing POs and liaise with vendors and finance.
• Facilitate change order routing and executive approvals within project management software.
• Review project financial health with management monthly via dashboards and productivity reports.
• Assist with risk register updates and contingency evaluation; support financial closeout activities.
• Collaborate with site scheduler to align financial forecasts with schedule updates.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, as applicable.
