Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant professional experience and experience with desktop technologies.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of evaluation and interpretation of international and domestic educational credentials and professional program prerequisites.
• Flexibility to work schedule during peak season; November - February.
• Preference given to those with experience in Graduate and Professional Admissions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate domestic or international credentials of Graduate and Professional applicants to ensure they meet minimum admissions criteria.
• Assist with provisionally admitted student records and holds, and liaise to professional programs.
• Present and recruit professional programs for Buckeye Bound and Buckeye Preview events.
• Update resources used to evaluate professional applications.
• Evaluate authenticity of transcript documents and calculate GPAs in the SIS.
• Maintain proficiency in PeopleSoft and OnBase for credential entry in the admissions database.
• Review inquiries and escalated cases; advise applicants on prerequisites.
