Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is seeking a process engineer combining project management with process engineering to execute new product trials, startup and commissioning of new production lines, and various factory projects.

The role interfaces with multiple departments, ensuring equipment can produce products meeting customer specs, quality, and food safety while driving improvements and cost control.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment failure.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate project scope, objectives, and expectations.
• Build and manage the project schedule, critical path, and status reports.
• Ensure equipment meets customer specifications, quality and food safety.
• Lead commissioning of new lines and ramp-up plans with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain traceability and handover between project teams and operations.
• Drive line performance to meet efficiency targets and continuous improvement.
