Essity North America Inc. is seeking a recently graduated engineer to join our tissue manufacturing site in Menasha, WI.

You will contribute to safety-oriented process management and learn to apply engineering principles to optimize production in a high-standard environment. Responsibilities

• Manage and improve safety-oriented processes for self and team.
• Follow established engineering principles to design sequences for tissue-based manufacturing.
• Prepare standard operation sheets and monitor production processes.
• Collect, analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot using root cause analysis methodology as needed.
• Drive projects that support continuous improvements and deliverables.
• Engage in ongoing in-house training modules to advance technical skills.

About the Role

Essity is looking for a talented and self‑motivated graduate in the field of process engineering to join one of largest paper manufacturing sites, in Menasha, WI. This position is suitable for those who have already completed their studies or will be graduating in 2026 or 2027. You will be part of the team working on the tissue paper manufacturing machines and in our Menasha location.

What You Will Do

• Manage safety‑oriented processes for yourself and others;
• Learning to follow established engineering principles to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to manufacture tissue‑based consumer products that meet the organization’s high standards of quality and cost;
• Performing standard technical tasks and preparing standard operation sheets;
• Monitoring production processes and work methods; collecting, compiling, and analyzing production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes;
• Learning to troubleshoot (for example, following root cause analysis methodology);
• Driving projects to support continuous improvements and deliverables;
• Driving your own continued learning and complete industry‑specific in‑house training modules

Who You Are

You will be a recently graduated engineer or will be completing a technical engineering degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree qualified) who has a natural focus on the environment and a compulsive curiosity about how engineering can play its part in delivering for the future. You should be a data driven and a process‑improvement enthusiast who can demonstrate that you are a successful team player, have a passion to lead others and manage responsibilities given to you. Work experience is not required, but internships within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
