Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in New Mexico to provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes evaluating residents, contributing to assessments, and ensuring safe medication administration according to physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse following an orientation period.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
