Genesis Healthcare is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a long‑term care setting in Rio Rancho, NM. The role involves conducting nursing assessments, coordinating care with LPNs and CNAs, and documenting patient status to support ongoing treatment plans.

The incumbent must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and hold or be eligible for licensure in New Mexico, with a preference for experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing or awaiting licensure.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care by performing nursing assessments delegating aspects of care to LPNs and Nursing Assistants.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and other disciplines, patients and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff during and between shifts.
