Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a self-motivated graduate engineer to join our studies team in the United States. The role focuses on conducting power system studies for preliminary renewable projects, interconnection applications, NERC compliance, and dynamic simulation modeling.

You will use PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD and other software to study performance and validate models, with opportunities to grow into other areas of power system analysis as workload allows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Prior engineering internship required.
• Interest in steady-state and dynamic power flow studies.
• Ability to present study results internally and externally.
• Identify new projects and translate into consulting opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
• Must have permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform studies using PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD and other software to analyze performance.
• Ensure NERC compliance and develop validated models for renewable projects.
• Benchmark models and explore other power system analysis areas as workload allows.
