Job summary

Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship. The program provides hands-on experience by working with large healthcare datasets, including claims and EMR data, to generate insights that support Highmark's Living Health strategy.

Interns will collaborate with analytics professionals, clinicians, and business leaders on strategic initiatives intended to improve population health, care delivery, and value-based outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in planning assignments and solving day‑to‑day problems.
• Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day operating objectives and receive mentoring from senior personnel.
